01 — WHO WE ARE

WEIGHT is an independent design studio based in New York, United States ("WEIGHT", "we"). We are the controller of the data described in this notice. For anything in this policy, write to inquiry@wwwwwwww.xyz.

02 — SCOPE & CHANGES

This notice covers the website wwwwwwww.xyz. If our practices change, the change is posted here with a new effective date before it takes effect.

03 — WHAT WE RECORD

When you visit, our own server records standard technical signals: IP address, approximate location derived from it (city / country), browser and device type, screen size, timezone, language, the page that referred you, and which sections of this site you view and for how long. This is a first-party record used to operate, secure, and understand the site.

04 — WHAT WE DO NOT DO

No third-party analytics, no advertising trackers, no social pixels, no fingerprinting services, no cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for advertising — with anyone, ever. Because we never track you across other sites, browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honoured by default.

We never see or store payment details. If you purchase an object, checkout happens with an external payment processor (such as Shopify or Square) under that processor's own terms and privacy policy.

05 — COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE

One first-party session cookie (a random identifier) links your visit together; it contains nothing about you and is not used for advertising. Your light/dark preference is stored only in your own browser. A separate cookie exists solely for studio staff signing in to the administration console. There are no third-party cookies.

06 — UK / EU / CANADA / CALIFORNIA

If you visit from the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, or California, we record nothing at all: no visit log, no analytics entry, no session cookie. You browse the full site; you are simply not in the data set. Your approximate location is checked once, server-side, only to apply this rule. This section is generated from the server's live configuration — if the practice ever changes, this page and its effective date change with it, and a notice appears on the site itself.

07 — WHAT YOU GIVE US DIRECTLY

If you submit your email address to our internal list, we store the address and the time you joined, and use it only for studio communications. Ask once and it is removed. Inquiries sent by email or Instagram are handled by those services under their own terms.

08 — SERVICE PROVIDERS

We rely on a small set of processors to run the site: hosting infrastructure, an IP-geolocation lookup (ip-api.com receives the IP address for that purpose only), an email delivery service for studio notifications, and external checkout as described above. Each receives only what its function requires.

09 — RETENTION & SECURITY

Visit records are kept only as long as they are useful for operating and securing the site, and are periodically purged as part of studio operations. We apply reasonable technical measures — encrypted transport, access controls, and hardened administrative access — but no internet transmission is perfectly secure.

10 — INTERNATIONAL VISITORS

The site is operated from, and data is processed in, the United States. If you use the site from elsewhere, the data described here is handled in the United States as set out in this notice.

11 — CHILDREN

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and it will be deleted.

12 — YOUR RIGHTS

Wherever you are: ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to inquiry@wwwwwwww.xyz. There is no form, no account, no runaround — we answer directly. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any right.

13 — GOVERNING LAW

This notice and any dispute arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States.
